We offer one-on-one online tutoring in 19 AP subjects. In math and computer science: Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Computer Science Principles and Computer Science A; in the sciences: Physics 1, Physics 2, Physics C: Mechanics, Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, Biology and Chemistry; in social sciences and economics: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Psychology, World History and Comparative Government and Politics; and in English: English Language and Composition and English Literature and Composition. The IB is a two-year integrated diploma program and requires your school to be an IB school. AP is chosen subject by subject: you can take as many AP courses as you like alongside your own school curriculum, and sit the exams as an independent candidate if your school does not offer AP. If you want focus in a specific area and flexibility, AP fits better; if you want a broad program under one roof, IB does. The two can also be combined — we decide together in the consultation based on your goal.

Most students take their first AP courses in grade 10 or 11 and sit 3–6 exams in total by grade 12; applicants to competitive programs may take more. Two or three subjects in the same year is a sustainable load for most students. Since the exams are in May, the ideal start is the previous autumn or January at the latest; in the initial consultation we build a realistic timeline for each subject.

AP (Advanced Placement) is the College Board programme that lets high-school students take university-level courses and sit a standardised exam for each one in May. It's taken by grade 10–12 students aiming at universities abroad, especially in the US and Canada; strong AP scores strengthen applications and earn credit at many universities.

There is no single list price; the fee is set as a package based on the number of AP subjects, lessons per week, total duration and scope. In the first two weeks of May every year; the 2027 exam weeks run 3–14 May. Registration goes through schools by mid-November. Results are released in early July.

No. At Studrise AP prep is online, one-on-one tutoring only, with a personal plan and tutor match per subject. A group course looks cheaper per hour, but in a 1:1 lesson all 60 minutes go to your gaps.

Yes. You can sit AP exams as an independent candidate at College Board authorised test centres. The whole course is then covered in the 1:1 programme; two lessons a week from September to April is a typical structure.

Yes. Coaching can be taken alongside your tutoring or on its own. Your coach tracks your study routine and progress, updates the plan based on practice-test results and aligns your university application timeline with your lessons. We agree the scope, frequency and price together in the initial consultation.

All lessons are online and one-on-one. Your tutor works live with you on screen, combining teaching, practice and exam strategy in a single flow. Lessons can be recorded so you can review them any time.

Lesson days and times are arranged entirely around your schedule. Weekly lesson count is planned together in the consultation based on your target, level and time until the exam.
