AP Biology is an advanced course run by the College Board that is equivalent to an introductory university-level biology course. It covers a broad range, from cell structure to evolution and ecology, and expects students to interpret experimental data and reason scientifically rather than simply recall facts. It is strong preparation for high-school students heading toward quantitative fields or programs such as medicine, pharmacy or bioengineering.
The exam has two parts: multiple-choice questions and free-response questions (FRQs). The FRQ part assesses experimental design, graph interpretation and reasoning with models. A high AP Biology score strengthens an application file and can earn introductory course credit at many universities.
Every lesson is taught by expert tutors who know the AP Biology format inside out and focus on exam strategy.
After your level assessment, we build a personal roadmap around your strengths and weak spots.
Lessons run online and one-on-one on days and times that suit you — no clashes with school.
It starts with a free assessment and consultation — you begin knowing the plan, timeline and goal.

The AP Biology exam has two sections — multiple-choice and free-response — and takes about 3 hours in total:
60 questions · 90 minutes · half of the score
6 questions · 90 minutes · half of the score
2 questions · usually experimental design and data analysis
4 questions · conceptual reasoning and model interpretation
AP exams are scored on a 1–5 scale, with the multiple-choice and free-response sections combined into this final score. A 3 is generally considered passing, but selective universities ask for a 4 or 5 for credit or placement. A high AP Biology score requires correctly interpreting both concepts and experimental data, and partial credit is possible on the free-response section.
AP Biology suits high-school students interested in biology who are considering health or life-science fields. AP exams are held each year in May. Because the course is broad, steady work spread across a school year is ideal for most students; in exam-focused preparation, experiment analysis and FRQ practice play a decisive role.
