Bu envanter hakkında

The Honey and Mumford Learning Styles Questionnaire is a self-assessment tool designed to identify how individuals prefer to learn, process experiences, solve problems, and apply new knowledge.

The questionnaire consists of 80 statements. Participants indicate whether they generally agree or disagree with each statement based on their usual behaviours and preferences. There are no right or wrong answers, and honest responses are essential for obtaining a meaningful result. The questionnaire typically takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.

The results are evaluated across four learning styles:

Activist
Activists learn best through direct involvement, new experiences, group activities, discussion, experimentation, and action.

Reflector
Reflectors prefer to observe, collect information, consider different perspectives, and think carefully before reaching a conclusion or taking action.

Theorist
Theorists learn by organising information into logical structures, models, principles, and systems. They value consistency, analysis, and clear explanations.

Pragmatist
Pragmatists focus on practical application. They prefer learning methods that help them test ideas, solve real-world problems, and see how knowledge can be used in practice.

Each learning style is scored separately, with a maximum score of 20 points per style. The results create an individual learning profile rather than assigning the participant to a single fixed category. A person may have one dominant learning preference or show a balanced combination of several styles.

The results can help individuals select more effective study methods, recognise their learning strengths, and develop less frequently used approaches. They can also support educators, academic coaches, and counsellors in designing more personalised learning experiences.
