Who is this inventory for?

This inventory is suitable for secondary school and university students, young adults, and professionals who want to understand their strongest intelligence areas and preferred ways of learning, thinking, communicating, and solving problems. It can also support teachers, parents, and educational coaches in planning more personalised learning strategies and development activities.

About this inventory

The Multiple Intelligences Inventory is a 90-item self-assessment designed to identify the different ways an individual may prefer to learn, think, communicate, solve problems, and engage with their environment. Participants place a “1” next to each statement that accurately describes them and leave other statements blank. Each of the nine sections contains 10 statements and produces a score between 0 and 10.

The inventory evaluates nine areas of intelligence: Naturalist, Musical, Logical-Mathematical, Existential, Interpersonal, Bodily-Kinaesthetic, Verbal-Linguistic, Intrapersonal, and Visual-Spatial. The resulting profile highlights the areas that are more strongly represented and can support personalised study strategies, learning activities, and educational guidance. The results should be treated as developmental indicators of current preferences rather than fixed measures of intelligence, academic ability, or future potential.
